Normal wear and tear and chemicals affect your natural stone surface and finish. Professional stone restoration can bring your durable natural stone back to life using neutral cleaners. The process of stone restoration depends on how the stone has ben maintained and what kind of stone is involved.
We will come out and assess your stone surface to diagnose whether your surface requires maintenance, restoration, or repair. Be prepared to answer what kind of product you’ve used on your natural stone surface, what you’ve used on grout joints, and other history behind your stonework.
Restoration may involve wet sanding, application of a cream or powder abrasive, and for floors, a machine with an industrial diamond disc to exfoliate the stone surface so it can be polished or re-honed, depending on the finish type. It may take several days to complete a stone restoration project as there are several steps – sometimes between three and seven.
